IEP CONSULTATIONS & WORKSHOPS
1. INDIVIDUALIZED EDUCATION PLAN CONSULTING (IEP) is offered in addition to the Victoria Stockton SLP Speech–Language–Feeding Therapy Consultations.
As an IEP Consultant acting as the child's personal advocate, Victoria is on site representing your child's interests when the school team (teachers, therapists, learning specialists, guidance counselors et al.) meets to discuss the progress of your child. She is there to work with the team to develop specific, achievable learning goals for your child. As a qualified team member, Victoria represents the interests of your child as the team discusses the child's educational progress – which includes working with the school team to develop new and achievable goals, facilitate classroom accommodations, and most importantly, to help interpret the team's recommended results to you, the parent.
Victoria will provide a speech-language written report that will be accepted as a credited speech-language analysis that will be added to your child's file.
